Margin Application is a decentralized finance (DeFi) application that operates on the blockchain. The Margin Application focuses specifically on margin trading, which involves borrowing funds to amplify trading positions. Margin trading allows traders to increase their potential profits but also carries higher risks due to the borrowed funds.
We were fortunate to collaborate with Amadeus, integrating their API services to connect with Vietnamese booking agents. Although many agents already operated their own internal systems, the integration fell short due to inconsistent system usage and lack of alignment across platforms. Essential business features were limited, and some processes still relied on manual input.
The platform itself also posed challenges. Its outdated interface and confusing workflows made it difficult to navigate, leading to a poor user experience. The client was looking for a complete redesign that not only modernized the interface but also addressed core usability issues.
To achieve mass adoption, user experience plays a vital role. Creating an intuitive and user-friendly interface, while still ensuring the security and complexity of margin trading, is a challenge.
Education and onboarding processes are essential to help users understand the risks and benefits of margin trading and maximize their experience on the platform.
Market Growth: The growing interest in cryptocurrencies and decentralized finance presents an opportunity to capture a larger user base.
Innovation: Designing a Margin Application with innovative features or unique value propositions can differentiate it from competitors.
Complexity: Margin trading can be complex, especially for inexperienced traders. Designing a user-friendly and intuitive interface becomes crucial to ensure that users can easily understand and navigate the platform.
User Education: Margin trading involves complex concepts and risks that may be unfamiliar to many users. Designing a Margin Application should prioritize user education by providing clear explanations, risk warnings, and resources to help users make informed decisions and understand the potential consequences of margin trading.
Competitors: The presence of other Margin Applications and established financial platforms can create competition for user adoption and liquidity.
Working closely with the testing team to develop test cases and scenarios based on the product requirements and design specifications. My responsibilities is ensure that all aspects of the product, including its user interface, functionality, and usability, are thoroughly tested.
Continuously improving the product design based on the insights gained from the testing phase.
Incorporates user feedback, test results, and stakeholder input to refine the product's design, ensuring that it meets user needs, aligns with business goals, and resolves any identified issues.
